The Cabela's-branded "extreme" hunting series aims to deliver a realistic, full-featured experience in its eighth edition. Virtual hunters will face three dozen dangerous, big game animals, each in a detailed re-creation of its natural habitat. Terrain is realistically affected by factors such the season, weather, and time of day, so even a familiar patch of land may change significantly over time.
