The heroes in a half-shell are back to clean up the streets of New York City in this all-new video game based on the once popular comic book license, which is poised to make a comeback with an animated series in February 2003 by 4Kids Entertainment, action figures by Playmates Toys, Inc., as well as a feature film. The turtles are pressed into action when Shredder and his evil gang of ninjas, known as the Foot Clan, start harassing the local residents.USED VIDEO GAME _x000D_\n_x000D_\nAs turtles Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello, or Raphael, players punch, kick, jump, and block their way through dank sewers, across busy streets, and from inside buildings on their way to Shredder's Shinto Temple. Each turtle is individually rated in various attributes and is trained in the use of a specific weapon. Donatello knocks heads with a bo staff, Leonardo slices and dices with twin katana blades, Michaelangelo twirls nunchaku, and Raphael wields two sais._x000D_\n_x000D_\nTo mirror the look of the animated series, the game has been designed using cel-shaded graphics and features the same character voices found on the television show. Two methods of play include Story Mode and Vs. Mode. Story Mode has up to two players joining forces to overthrow Shredder and his Foot Clan through six stages spanning more than 35 levels. In between stages are cut-scenes to help further the storyline, and players can collect scrolls to unlock new powers. Vs. Mode can be played against a friend or the computer, with an option to fight as a hero or a villain.
